Cookie Policy

Cookie Policy

This notice, pursuant to Article 13 of the GDPR – EU Regulation 2016/679 and Article 122 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 (hereinafter, “Privacy Code”), describes the management methods of this website owned by LABEL ITALY SRL regarding the processing of personal data of users who consult it, also in accordance with the requirements of the Privacy Guarantor’s Provision of June 10, 2021, “Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools” (hereinafter, “Provision”).

The information is provided solely for the aforementioned website and not for other websites or sections/pages/spaces owned by third parties that may be consulted by the user via specific links within the same.

1. COOKIES AND THEIR CLASSIFICATION

1.1. Cookies

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files sent by the website visited by the user to the user’s device (usually to the browser), where they are stored to recognize the device during subsequent visits. On each subsequent visit, the cookies are sent back from the user’s device to the website.

Each cookie generally contains the following: the name of the server from which the cookie was sent, the expiration date, and a value, usually a randomly generated unique number. The website server that transfers the cookie uses this number to recognize you when you return to visit the site or browse from one page to another.

Cookies can be installed not only by the website manager (first-party cookies) but also by a different site that installs cookies through the first site (third-party cookies) and can recognize them. This happens because the visited site may contain elements (images, maps, sounds, links to web pages of other domains, etc.) that reside on servers other than the one visited.

Based on their purpose, cookies are classified as technical cookies and statistical/profiling cookies.

Technical cookies are used solely to “carry out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide that service” (see Article 122, para. 1, of the Privacy Code). In particular, such cookies are usually used to enable efficient navigation between pages, store user preferences (language, country, etc.), perform computer authentications, manage shopping carts, or allow online purchases, etc. Some of these cookies (called essential or strictly necessary) enable functions without which certain operations could not be performed. According to the aforementioned Article 122, para. 1, of the Privacy Code, the use of technical cookies does not require user consent.

Analytics cookies are considered equivalent to technical cookies if used directly by the site manager to collect aggregated information on the number of users and how they visit the site. These cookies allow website owners and/or managers to understand how users interact with site content to optimize it.

Profiling cookies, on the other hand, are used to track user navigation, analyze their behavior for marketing purposes, and create profiles on their tastes, habits, choices, etc., to send targeted advertising messages in line with the user’s interests and preferences expressed during online navigation. These cookies can only be installed on the user’s device if the user has given their consent in the simplified manner indicated in the Provision.

Based on their duration, cookies are classified as persistent (which remain stored until their expiration unless removed by the user) and session cookies (which are not stored persistently and disappear when the browser is closed).

Which cookies are used by this site?

Google

Google

Name Url Description Duration
_GRECAPTCHA .google.com This cookie is set by the Google recaptcha service to identify bots to protect the website against malicious spam attacks. 5 months 27 days

In any case, users can manage their preferences for online behavioral advertising via the site www.youronlinechoices.com, which lists the main behavioral advertising providers. Through this site, users can disable or enable all companies or adjust their preferences individually for each company.

How to disable/modify cookies?

To modify cookie preferences already expressed, there is a dedicated link to the control panel at the side of the pages or in the footer (bottom part) of the site.

By default, almost all web browsers are set to accept cookies automatically. However, it is possible to modify this default configuration through the browser settings. Disabling/blocking cookies or deleting them may prevent optimal use of certain areas of the site, hinder the use of some services, and slow down navigation.

The cookie management configuration depends on the browser used. Cookie settings are typically adjusted from the “Preferences,” “Tools,” or “Options” menu.

Below are links to the cookie management guides for the main browsers:
